Building in Faith - Every Friday or Monday, our teachers lead their students in faith sharing, using the Sunday Gospel. Parents can help their children by discussing the Gospel and homily after Mass each Sunday.

Building in Hearts - We need to be aware of and responsive to others and their needs - a very Christian attitude!

Building in Minds - ITBS (nationally standardized tests) show our students' average scores in the top 10-15% of the nation. These strong scores reflect the consistent and dedicated efforts of all: students, teachers and parents. The priority put on academics at home and school is a clear message to the students and helps them set high goals for themselves.

Building Stewardship - In addition to a vital Home & School Association, several booster clubs support school activities: the Athletic Booster Club, the Patrons of the Arts, and the Environmental Preservation Club. Interested parents, parishioners and friends are invited to participate in these organizations.  Contributions to the School Endowment Fund and to our 'Catch a Rising Star' scholarship fund directly help students and their families afford a Catholic education. Programs for our  students  have also been supported by donations from the Council of Catholic Women, the Knights of Columbus and grants from the Southwest Florida and Cape Coral Foundations.

Diocesan policy directing all schools toward 'Cost-based Tuition / Need-based Tuition Aid' by 2009 is in the education and planning phases at St. Andrew School. This Power Point presentation contains an overview of the policy.

Our school mascot is 'SUPERSTAR,' who helps keep us focused on the unique qualities and gifts each student, teacher, staff person and parent brings to the school community. We are all called to use our gifts to 'build the Kingdom of God' as our mission is to 'build in faith, in hearts, and in minds.'

At St. Andrew School, we use the Love and Logic approach to raising children. Teachers, staff and parents explore,  discuss and apply Love and Logic principles. To register for upcoming parent classes, visit our Guidance page. To find out more about this positive and loving way to help children become more responsible and learn from their mistakes,  visit the Love and Logic website.
